big girl crib

daddy expanded and lowered my crib today. i really like it, for playing, but I'm still not sure I want to sleep here. its so much more cozy next to mommy! talks are on going....

muir woods

we went to see the big trees at muir woods. the winding road there got the best of mom and me, but it was well worth it in the end. wonder how big i'll be in a couple hundred years...

cousins

my cousins natalie and brendan came to visit for the holiday and helped me figure out what to do with my new blocks. i love playing with big kids!

sunglasses

santa came!

not sure which is cooler, the blocks he brought me, or the wrapping they came in...

new bath toys

its official. no more baths in the kitchen sink. i'm too big. to celebrate my moving on to the big kid tub, mommy & daddy bought me some bath toys. who knew plastic fish tasted so good? unfortunately fozzy thinks they're yummy too and keeps trying to steal them. silly dog, fish are for babies!

java baby

everything has been going so well with all of those mashed sweet potatoes and peas i've been eating, i though i'd branch out and try a little Peet's. Shhh....don't tell dad.

tio luis

came for a visit and we ate yummy food and played until the wee hours of the night. he's so much fun and is going to make a really good papa. too bad he's having ANOTHER boy. us girls are an endangered species these days.

bookworm

reading is fun. of course eating the book is even more fun, but that's a whole other story.

zelig's baby shower

today was the baby shower for mommy's friend deborah. soon there will be another boy to add to my harem. i got bored with the presents and cupcakes and decided to steal uncle scott's glasses. i wonder if he wants them back...

my new favorite place to be is in my jumper. it's so much fun, and who knows, i might even lose one or two of those rolls on my legs with all of this exercise.

my first street fair, the always interesting 'how berkeley can you be'. my good friend finn was there and we met a nice doggie that liked the bjorn as much as we do!

L.A. story

here's another picture from my road trip to malibu. lucky for mom and dad i was tired and slept for most of the 400 mile car ride. we stayed at a hotel near the beach in santa monica and i got to dip my feet in the whirlpool. this is the life!

wedding

all decked out for my first wedding with my friend marisha. we all had a great time by the beach in malibu, and thankfully most of the paparazzi (except for my dad of course) stayed home and let us superstars celebrate in peace.

my first live music experience, free latin jazz at jupiter! we took the train to downtown for the berkeley jazz festival.

after two long smelly weeks, my umbilical cord finally fell off and i got my first real bath. i loved it! the warm water felt so nice and i smell so good now. it won't be long 'til i'm locking myself in the bathroom for hours and using the real tub

here i am looking skinny and yellow. my mom is trying hard to feed me, but it's taking me a while to get this nursing thing down. i keep losing weight and now weigh only 6lbs.5oz. i'd better start gaining weight soon or folks are going to start mistaking me for kate moss.

the staff at the hospital gave me this labeled onesie to make sure my parents remember to put me to sleep on my back. are my parents really that dense? i hope not, 'cause if they can't figure that one out without a cheat sheet, it's going to be a long 18 years...

All bundled up, seeing my parents for the first time. I weigh 6# 13oz and I'm 18 inches long. Birth was a quick but exhausting experience - three and a half hours from beginning to end. We're doing well, but Mom keeps saying something about bone-crushing pain and not holding my breath for a sibling anytime soon.

let me out! it's getting crowded in here!
